What is the image of a graduate of the Sussya Yeshiva?

Owing to the long-standing observation of our profound connection with our

graduates, the image of the “Sussyan” graduate begins to unfold before us as well as

some of his main characteristics:

 The aspiration for deep intensive spiritual and personal excellence –

almost all our graduates depart for another year or more of in-depth religious

and Torah studies in a Beth Medrash of a Preparatory Yeshiva (Mechina) in

preparation for the next challenge, being a significant military service and

commencing the construction of a personal dwelling and a family.

 Persistence and seriousness in each action taken and every duty – all

our graduates make efforts to carry out their military duty at the highest,

most challenging positions and locations, despite all the spiritual and

physical difficulties.

 Dedication and mission – building a Jewish Home through participation in

the challenges of Israeli society. We have had the privilege to see many of

our graduates build their homes on the foundations of the Torah and

reverence and living throughout the Land of Israel.

 “Torah with proper behavior (Derech Eretz)” – many of our graduates

continue on to higher education in colleges and universities in preparation

for integrating into diverse assorted deeds.

 Sociability and commitment – many of our graduates select a job or a

place of residence possessing supreme moral and ethical vocation. The

integration of volunteer work within the personal life constitutes a unifying

connecting line between all the Yeshiva’s graduates whoever and wherever

they are.

We are grateful to God Almighty for giving us the privilege to become partners in the

upbringing of this wonderful remarkable generation and we pray that God will

safeguard their departures and arrivals from here to eternity.
